Wow, that was kinda scary, well, now that we're over that, read about the Bosstones, and you know the Sublime page is coming too....
Alright, the Bosstones are my hometown hero's. The drummer is from Andover, which is 1/3 of a mile from my house, and the drummer is the second cousin of one of the guys on my wrestling team. Anyway these guys are my favorite band in the world, they rock. I don't do sound clips or anything like that cuz I don't have enough space. Sorry.
The Bosstones are one of the only bands I've wanted to and have seen more than once. The last time was at the 2nd--and superior to all others--Warped Tour. We got a bunch of free stuff, demo's, CD's, stickers, magazine's, all sorts of cool stuff. It was a great time.
I went to the Warped Tour with Ted Lightburn, who happens to be a genius prodigy and straight edge ICON, FYI. It was held at the scenic North Hampton airport, a.k.a. a giant deserted airfield. We saw the Dance Hall Crashers, Fishbone, Civ, the Hare Krishna's, Blink-182, Down By Law, Face To Face, and few other awesome bands. If anyone gets a chance to go to it, it's one of the best show packages out there, and it was only $15. Good deal.
Here's a little Discography. When I get the time, I'll have the CD covers for you:
Devils Night Out
More Noise and Other Disturbances (featuring Bad in Plaid, Where'd You Go, and They Came to Boston, among other gems)
Don't Know How to Party
Question the Answers (featuring Hell of a Hat, Stand Off, and Toxic Toast amidst other bits of wholesome goodness)
Let's Face It (If you don't know by now, this is the album that most likely introduced you to the Bosstones)
Don't forget the two EP'S:
Ska-core, the devil, and More (with an awesome cover of Bob Marley's Simmer Down)
Where Did U go
The Bosstones also have songs on the Music For Our Mother Ocean (M.O.M.) 2 CD, it's "Ocean" by the Pietasters--who also back up the Bosstones in the song, and a song on the "Meet the Deedles" soundtrack (Wrong thing right then) , which also includes the Cherry Poppin' Daddies and Save Ferris, among other swinging bands, and to top it off, the song from the Bosstones is brand spankin' new!
